Youths Exploring Passion (YEP)

“Youth Exploring Passion is a one-on-one mentoring program for parenting and pregnant teenagers at Thomas Riley High School. Our goal is to help each of these girls find their passion and encourage them to pursue the career or life path they wish for. We do this by providing resources, opportunities, and individual companionship!”

Girls in Tech (GIT)

Girls in Tech University at USC is dedicated to empowering, educating, and mentoring female college students interested in entering the technology field. They have held events such as their Women in Entrepreneurship panel (panelists included the CEO of Enplug Nanxi Liu and CEO of cyPOP Josie Baik), as well as a Big Data Panel (which featured Preact.io and Gravity.com) and was published in The Daily Trojan.

Girls in Tech University at USC works closely with Girls in Tech Los Angeles, a branch of Girls in Tech, a global organization focused on the engagement, education and empowerment of influential women in technology.

Society of Women Engineers (SWE)

The Society of Women Engineers is a non-profit, global organization founded in 1950. It aims to provide female engineers with a supportive community and a greater voice in the engineering industry. With almost 20,000 members, SWE’s influence has connected women in engineering both old and young, including the future generation of women engineers through its extensive K-12 outreach programs. SWE also strives to establish a community of upmost diversity, producing an organization of varying talents, ideas, and perspectives.
